I made this painting of Vincent Valentine (my favorite character from Final Fantasy) on a boring Sunday afternoon... I did use an image for reference...

However, this is the first time I started off with the background first and that too a dark background. The results came out OK...

It will be nice if someone could give me suggestions on how to get that perfect lighting...
